Space to create

There are those who believe that a creative space means a messy space, and works great for some people, but I'm not one of those people and neither, it seems, are the snowflakes. Since our craft table had become a dumping ground for things needing repair and other random junk, the arts and crafts just hadn't been happening very often. Now I have finally got around to rearranging the playroom and clearing off the table, and guess what? There actually is plenty of space for three children to work without killing each other! It's a great spot for me to set out a suggested activity for them, because after an hour or two of playing outside they come right past there on the way back inside, just when they are looking for something else to do. It also means that there is room for them to try their own ideas without having to embark on a cleanup before the craft materials can be brought out. Here is #2's mask; she says it is "an imaginary bird, because real birds don't have little pink hearts on them, do they?"
